Over ten intensive training days, you’ll work alongside experienced groomers and learn the foundations of professional dog grooming. From understanding coat types and preparing dogs for grooming through to bathing, drying, clipping, scissoring, styling, health checks, customer consultations, and safe handling techniques, every day is designed to build on the skills you’ve learned previously.

This course isn’t about simply watching demonstrations—it’s about getting involved. You’ll spend the majority of your time developing practical experience under the guidance of your trainer, giving you the confidence to continue your grooming journey after the course.

Throughout your training you’ll also gain valuable insight into the day-to-day running of a busy grooming salon, including hygiene, equipment maintenance, client communication, time management, and the professional standards expected within the industry.

By the end of the ten days, you’ll have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of dog grooming and a clear pathway for your next steps.
